14 October 2017 - 4 November 2017

Canterbury Festival is enthusiastic about reaching new audiences, encouraging participation, providing opportunities for learning and making sure everyone can be a part of the biggest Arts Festival in the region.

Made in Kent is a new framework for providing opportunities for Kent based young performers to feature in the Festival under each of the different art forms represented in the programme.  The scheme demonstrates a commitment from the Festival to finding, developing and showcasing local emerging and mid-career talent. Each strand of Made in Kent will consist of a competition open to the general public with a different component announced monthly in the lead up to the Festival’s programme launch in June.

January sees the launch of the Dance Competition. Keep returning to our pages to see when the next strand opens, or follow us on either facebook or twitter
