What is it?
We are offering emerging theatre companies the opportunity to perform in the popular Festival venue of St Mary’s Studio Theatre. The winner will perform on Thursday 26 October 2017 at 7.30 pm, so the show must be available on this date.
Who’s it for?
Kent Residents, aged 16+
Local amateur dramatic groups
Groups who are creating and devising their own work (ie not staging plays of existing scripts)

Featured in the Festival brochure and online
Net box office takings, plus £250 towards rehearsal costs
Rehearsal feedback from the Festival Participation Manager
Professional photographs for future press packs along with press pack preparation advice from the Festival Marketing Manager

What are the terms and conditions?
Deadline for submitting a proposal is Friday 12 May 2017
The company and/or performers must be based in, and making work in Kent.
The show must not be a staging of a published script.
Shows should be approximately 1 hour in length, without an interval and suitable for a black box theatre space with raked seating for 120 audience members.
