David Flood Joins Bursary Competition Panel of Judges for 2019

Canterbury Festival is delighted to welcome Director of Music at Canterbury Cathedral, David Flood to chair the judging panel for the Bursary competition 2019.

Speaking about the appointment he said,

The Bursary Competition is a very prestigious award for the hugely talented, aspiring musicians in our area and I am delighted to be invited to chair the judging panel. The succession of eminent people who have filled the role makes it a very flattering invitation and I am looking forward to being part of the panel. I am very eager to see young musicians launched on a performing career and have the experience of playing for an audience. I am sure that this year’s performers will enjoy an exciting experience and I look forward to the opportunity to support them and help them on their way.
