Each year we invite Canterbury and East Kent-based artists to submit events for the Canterbury Festival Visual Arts programme.

This year’s Festival will take place from 16 – 30 October and artists working in all mediums are invited to take part to celebrate the arts in East Kent. If you are planning an exhibition, open studio or other free event – we want to hear from you!

Your event will be featured as part of the Festival programme with a dedicated event page on the Festival website and a listing in the Festival brochure.

As with the Umbrella programme, all responsibility for the organisation and marketing of the event, lies with the organiser. Your event should be free, easily accessible and inline with applicable Covid secure guidelines.

We would love to hear from artists working in traditional media, photography, sound, video, ceramics, digital art or any other medium.
