After 45 years on the road, the legendary Canterbury formed
collective will be hanging up their touring boots and bringing their unique partnership with English folk songstress June Tabor to a worthy conclusion.

But it’s not over yet… With a tour aptly named A Long Long Goodbye, Oysterband will be bowing-out in style with a career-spanning set.

From their earliest days as a noisy, politicised ceilidh band in the late Seventies, Oysterband have never stopped evolving or providing a soundtrack to the changing times. They have earned a huge international following stacking up several BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, headlining English Roots Against Apartheid, playing Glastonbury, touring with The Pogues, as well as Billy Bragg.

They’ve travelled the world and they still play with the fire of that dance band that began right here in Canterbury.
