The UK’s top storytelling trio launch a new podcast inspired by the public response to lockdown alchemy.
The Devil’s Violin was formed in 2006 by storyteller Daniel Morden, composer / cellist Sarah Moody and co-composer / violinist Oliver Wilson-Dickson.
In Spring this year, the group was poised to begin rehearsals for what would have been their sixth major touring show – The Beast in Me. Instead, working remotely from their various lockdown locations, they began to develop a series of traditional stories with musical accompaniment.
These six tales, each a response to the unfolding crisis, were released every Sunday evening, and are now available as the podcast: Storytelling from The Devil’s Violin.
