The Festival Friends are absolutely delighted to invite you to Valuations in a Vineyard.
Bring your treasured antiques, heirlooms and objet d’art along to the beautiful and historic barn at Chartham Vineyard where the knowledgeable and friendly experts of the Canterbury Auction Galleries will be pleased to value them for you. At the same time, you may also like to take the opportunity to sample the wonderful wine produced at the Vineyard and, if so inclined, purchase some to take home.
Established in 1991, The Canterbury Auction Galleries are Kent’s leading Auctioneers & Valuers of Fine Art, Antiques and Collectables, respected both nationally and internationally, so we are very grateful to them for their offering their great expertise to us.
Chartham Vineyard is a family enterprise combining traditional farming values with a modern eco-friendly approach. Since 2013 owners Roz and Richard Goodenough have produced very high-quality wines including a Gold Medal winner for their first sparkling Blanc de Blanc. The Vineyard is part of Burnt House Farm and the event will take place in their stunning 17th century barn.
Tickets are £15 each including a valuation of up to three objects, a wine tasting and guided tour of the model vineyard. Numbers are limited so be sure to book early.
We will be carefully observing Government advice regarding social distancing and those attending are asked to take every care for the safety of themselves and others. Feel free to wear a mask if you wish, and work with us to ensure hygiene and safe distancing. Should the event need to be rescheduled, you will be contacted by a member of the team. Please ensure you have provided a contact number or email address.
