Alasdair Nicolson has decided that he must withdraw from directing the Canterbury Festival in 2024 and 2025 following a change in circumstances. Plans for the 2024 Festival will continue under the direction of the current Festival Team, and the process of appointing a new Festival Director will follow in due course.
