Priority Booking Instructions for Festival Friends
Please find below important information about how to book your tickets online, over the phone and in-person during the priority booking period.
In-person and phone bookings
Friends can book over the phone or in-person. Bookings must be made in the name of the registered Festival Friend. Phone bookings can be made by calling 01227 457568 or for in-person purchases, visit the Festival Office at Festival House, 8 Orange Street, CT1 2JA. Box Office opening times are Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm. Please note we will not be able to sell tickets on Monday 29 July until 11am.
Accessing priority booking if you have previously booked online
If you have previously booked a Festival event online using your Festival Friends’ account, you are all set. Just follow these steps:
• Visit canterburyfestival.co.uk and click ‘login’ in the top right-hand corner.
• Enter your email and password.
• Once logged in you will be taken to the events page and can begin to book tickets when priority booking opens on Monday 29 July at 11am.
* Please note that if you have created an additional online account using an alternate email address, priority booking will not be accessible. You must log in with the email address that is tied to your Friends’ membership.
Registering online if you have recently become a Festival Friend
If you have recently purchased a Friends’ membership but have not previously booked, you will be able to log in to your Ticketsolve account by following these steps:
• Visit canterburyfestival.co.uk and click ‘login’ in the top right-hand corner.
• You will be taken to the Ticketsolve login page, please use the email address and password you used to purchase your membership.
• If you have not previously registered, or have forgotten your password, please click ‘Forgot your password’ then enter your email address and click send. After a few minutes, check your email account where you should have received a password reset email (check the junk file just in case). Click the link in this email, or copy and paste it into your browser, and you will be directed to a reset page. When you have set your password, you will be able to log in and can begin to purchase tickets when booking opens.
- Once logged in to the customer account tied to your Friends’ membership, you will be able to purchase tickets for your selected event when priority booking opens.
Registering over the phone or in person if you have not supplied an email address
If we do not have an email address for you, you will be required to phone the Box Office to activate your online account and book your tickets via the website. The Box Office is open from 10am – 5pm Monday to Friday on 01227 457568. We anticipate a large number of calls so, if you are unable to get through, please leave a message and a member of the Box Office team will be in touch as soon as possible.
