2021 marks Kent College’s fourth year as a Headline Sponsor of Canterbury Festival. After a challenging but successful socially-distanced Festival in 2020, the partnership continued in 2021 with Kent College’s Great Hall hosting a bigger and bolder programme, celebrating our shared passion for artistic and academic excellence.

This year The Great Hall hosted an array of live music, theatre, opera, comedy and talks from 16 – 29 October. Events included Barbara Dickson, Grace Dent in conversation, the Kent Chamber Opera with Carmen: Her Life and Loves, Mig Kimpton with A Kentish Floral Journey, the Dad’s Army Radio Show, Dyad Productions with Female Gothic and Matt Ford with the Chris Ingham Trio.

Each year the Kent College Lecture welcomes an expert speaker from the world of science with this year’s event presented by zoologist, conservationist and BBC Springwatch presenter Megan McCubbin with Living Wild, Weird and Wonderful. Megan shared a funny, passionate and informative talk, packed full of science, facts and stories of conservation projects and her work in the field.

Canterbury Festival would like to thank Kent College for their continued support and look forward to more exciting projects and events in the future.
