This year’s Canterbury Festival was packed full of highlights and stand out performances – we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
This year Canterbury welcomed musicians, performers and artists from around the world. We would like to thank our partner and principal sponsor Canterbury Christ Church University, our headline sponsors Canterbury Auction Galleries, Kent College and Paul Roberts, our many other sponsors, funders supporters, volunteers and of course you, our wonderful audiences for making this possible.
With your support this year’s Festival welcomed audiences of over 60,000 to ticketed and free events across the City and East Kent. Not only that, through the charity’s learning and outreach work we engaged a multitude of emerging musicians, dancers, theatre makers, performers and writers of all ages, who actively participated and performed as part of this year’s programme.
Whilst the Festival may have ended, our year-round work continues – working with schools, colleges, universities, artists and other charities to inspire and embrace creativity – providing opportunities for career development and strengthening East Kent communities through the arts.
Canterbury Festival will return in 2020 from 17 – 31 October. Join our mailing list to keep up to date with the latest news and announcements.
