The Cathedral is one of the most visited places in the country. Both a holy place and part of a World Heritage Site, its unique atmosphere adds to the enjoyment of Canterbury Festival’s concerts, seating 1100.

Canterbury Cathedral Lodge
The Canterbury Cathedral Lodge is a unique and contemporary venue situated in the grounds of Canterbury Cathedral. It is a 250 seat auditorium with in-built audiovisual facilities.

St Peter’s Methodist Church
The church is set some distance back from the street and was founded in 1809. The building, however, dates from 1643 when it was the family home of the Gosling family.

Kent College Canterbury's newest performance space is an impressive 600-seat auditorium that will provide cutting-edge facilities for worship, concerts and the performing arts.

- Event parking is available for up to 80 cars to the rear of the site. There will be a sign on Whitstable Road directing you to the car park. Turn off Whitstable road onto Neal’s Place Road, then take the first available right turning. There is a fully accessible path directly from the carpark to the venue. Signage and staff will be in place to help guide you.
- Please enter the Great Hall via the front doors.
- Please be considerate of other audience members sharing your aisle and allow them to pass. This may require you to step out of your seats momentarily.

Shirley Hall, King’s School
Shirley Hall is part of The King's School and is a wonderfully atmospheric venue to see concerts.

- Access to the Shirley Hall is by the main entrance steps only. A lift is available for audience members who require it.
- We regret that the bar will not be open but bottled water will be available for a small donation.
- Toilet facilities are available on the ground floor beneath the hall. For convenience, please access facilities before climbing steps to Hall.
ACCESS
Due to the age of the building, access for wheelchair users is via an outside lift and up a ramp (staff are available to assist if necessary) but toilet is downstairs and not accessible without leaving the venue. Wheelchair user spaces off aisle, We ask that any patrons using a wheelchair please notify the Festival Box Office on 01227 457568 and seats will be processed for you. No accessible toilets in immediate vicinity – nearest accessible toilet is under the hall (approx 50m away using outside lift).

- Parking is available on-site for up to 40 cars on a first-come basis. There are local carparks all within a 5-10 minute walk from the theatre including St Radigunds, Canterbury West Station and Kingsmead Leisure Centre.
- Staff will be available on the night to help guide you to your seats.
- If you require the toilets, please use them before or after the performance.

Please note do not park in the King’s School Recreation Centre as gates are locked when site is closed and you risk not being able to access your vehicle.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The nearest train station is Canterbury West and there is a bus stop on St Stephen’s road at the end of Malthouse road and the theatre.
