Wildness and Wonder is the theme for this captivating new collaboration between the world-renowned Sacconi Quartet and acclaimed singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Richard Navarro. Together with Nicholas Thurston on guitar and double bass, the duo’s finely-crafted material, which swoops between the witty, infectious, intimate and profound, is given a powerful and exquisite new context through string arrangements specially written for Sacconi.
For this very special Festival programme, the quartet will complement Navarro’s songs with works by Roxanna Panufnik, Jessie Montgomery and Maurice Ravel.
