We begin our first day at Barham Court with a melting pot of Ska, Jazz and Eastern European Gypsy music with Latin and Cuban influences thrown in for good measure.
Gypskazz are a six-piece band that are guaranteed to get you on your feet and dancing. On accordion, saxophone, guitar, ukulele, bass, and drums, plus vocals from the band members, they perform original tracks and genre related covers in the style of Hungarian czardas, Russian folk, and Gypsy jazz classics, all arranged in their inimitable way.
Expect a musical adventure that takes you through country and continent, filled with pondering ballads, tango, waltz, swing, and high-energy songs. Their music is infectious, fun, soulful and spirited. Guaranteed to get your feet-tapping and up dancing.
Gates open at 5pm, music commences at 6pm.
Please note this is an outdoor picnic event – please bring blankets and camping chairs. There is no wet weather venue, so please do bring an umbrella just in case!
